Cute story

We were in Sam's today and there was a little girl shopping with her mom and she was riding in the shopping cart. She was probably 2 or 3 years old. She saw Josh in his infant sit in my shopping cart. She looked at him and said "Mom, look at that baby!". Her mom looked and said "Yea, he's cute, isn't he?" Then, she said "I want a baby just like that one!" It was so cute!

More pictures

These were taken about two weeks ago on August 4th, so he was just over 3 months old. The outfit that he's wearing was a gift from Aunt Pat.

Pictures from this weekend

This picture was taken while Josh was lying on his tummy in his crib. I set the camera down on the mattress and pushed the button. Pretty good result, huh?

This weekend Josh and I went for lunch with friends on Friday and Saturday. Friday, we went to Mi Cocina with Courtney and Angie near Lennox. Saturday, Josh stayed with his Mimi and Tutor while I got a pedicure from Carla. Then, we went to Third Saturday lunch at Hunan Dynasty. It was a lot of fun - Karen brought Ben and Jeanne, Mac, Carley, Franny, and Teresa were there.

Josh wore his Cowboy jersey for the pre-season game on Saturday. We went outside to take pictures. He can sit up pretty good in his Bumbo now. If the jersey looks a little big, that's because it is. It's a size 3T, which is the smallest size that they had when I bought it. But, it's so cute that I couldn't resist putting it on him!

He didn't have much luck staying awake for the game. Oh well!

The quilt that Josh is laying on was handmade by Gramme for our family. Josh is the first to use it, in his crib in the living room.

Frustration

Today, Josh was playing in his jumperoo, when I noticed that he seemed to be getting frustrated with the toys. He had this really intense look on his face like the toys weren't cooperating or they wouldn't do what he wanted them to do. I'm not sure if he was trying to figure out what they were supposed to do or if he was just getting tired and cranky. But just look at the expressions on his face...

P.S. Don't worry - I didn't let him sit there and be upset for long. I picked him up right after I finished taking these pictures!
